The response to this application has been phenomenal with over 600 written objections being received by North Yorkshire County Council. Clearly Tockwith is the wrong place to try and build an incinerator.

Many of you would like to see your objections published on this site, unfortunately there are just too many of them for us to do this at the moment. We will publish some of the key objections below including the objection from Tockwith Residents Association(TRA) on behalf of it's members. This objection has been put together by a specialist consultant, paid for by TRA members and donations from supporters. This has allowed us to object on solid planning issues which will be critical to a successful conclusion.
