This page is left as an archive to the BCB Campaign which was launched to prevent the building of a hazardous waste incinerator on Marston Moor Business Park next to Tockwith Village.
Supporters of the campaign helped to raise £19,800 which was required to commission expert professional advice to fight the planning application which was ultimately refused.
Tockwith residents welcome appropriate businesses to the area however as can be seen from ths campaign they will vigorously defend the village and surrounding area from any development which is out of character, or which in any way threatens this quiet and tranquil conservation area village.
